Job summary

Charlie’s Produce in Seattle is hiring a Fruit Line Processor to prepare, process, and package fresh cut fruit according to our quality standards in a cold production environment. This on-site role requires regular attendance with a 4:00am–12:30pm schedule and weekend availability; you will cut, wash, weigh, and package fruit using knives or equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual knife work or food processing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team oriented attitude and reliability in attendance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, dice, peel, and bag fruit products using knives or mechanical equipment.
• Wash, weigh, and package fruit according to recipe and portion guidelines.
• Follow standard recipes and production specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate high speed mechanisms safely and efficiently in a cold production environment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following GMPs and food safety.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals in a refrigerated environment.
