Qualifications

• 3 years Histology Technician experience with required education.
• 1 year Histopathology within last ten years under pathologist supervision or with eligible certification.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Histotechnician program preferred or Associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare histology materials following departmental procedures with high technical accuracy.
• Support specimen workflow: sorting, identifying, accessioning, labeling blocks/slides.
• Maintain supplies, prepare reagents and solutions, and clean equipment.
• Contribute to quality assurance and participate in QC processes.
• Assist in training new laboratory personnel.
• Perform other duties as required.
