Qualifications

• Must have at least 2+ years purchasing frozen groceries.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Ability to analyze data and track market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Purchase frozen grocery items from national and regional suppliers.
• Track market conditions, pricing trends, and commodity movement.
• Negotiate pricing, freight, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong in-stock levels while minimizing shrink and aging.
• Evaluate suppliers, pack sizes, and product alternatives.
• Build vendor relationships and resolve quality or delivery issues.
