Job summary

JJ Foodservice in the United Kingdom is seeking a Freezer Operative - Dayshift to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. You will pick and prepare frozen items for customer collection orders and ensure accurate receiving and storage of stock.

The role also covers handling returns, checking for damaged or short-dated items, and light manual handling. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

• Physically active due to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing frozen items for customer collection orders.
• Receive goods from suppliers and check against delivery notes.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Receive and store returned items from customers and complete required documentation.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short-dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
