Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in frozen operations, production, or food manufacturing; supervisory exp preferred.
• Working knowledge of USDA regulations, sanitation, and food manufacturing best practices.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train, motivate, and guide employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; ability to learn internal production systems.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with limited information and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, off-shifts, and extended hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises frozen repack and pretzel teams, managing staffing and workflow.
• Plans and schedules production activities aligned with requirements and inventory.
• Monitors production efficiency, labor utilization, and cost-effectiveness; takes corrective action.
• Ensures accurate and timely production reporting and data updates.
• Maintains GMPs, HACCP, food safety, plant safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates with QA, Inventory, Purchasing, and Shipping to ensure seamless operations.
• Reviews timecards for direct reports to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Supports continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and engagement.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
