Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation in Hanover, PA, is seeking a Production Supervisor for its frozen operations. The role oversees the frozen repack and frozen pretzel teams, plans production activities, and ensures safety, GMP/HACCP compliance, and timely reporting of production data.

You will lead staff, coordinate with QA, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, Sales Service and Plant Management to maintain quality and on‑time order fulfillment. Weekend/off‑shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Operations, Food Science, Business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in frozen operations, production, or food manufacturing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of USDA regulations, sanitation standards, GMPs and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the frozen repack and frozen pretzel teams and ensures staffing, workflow coordination, and material availability.
• Plans and schedules production activities aligned with system requirements, customer demand and inventory objectives.
• Monitors efficiency, labor utilization and cost-effectiveness; takes corrective actions as needed.
• Ensures safe working environment through safety orientations and training; enforces safe practices.
• Maintains GMPs, HACCP, food safety and regulatory compliance; addresses quality issues with QA.
• Coordinates with Inventory, Purchasing, Traffic, Shipping, Sales Service, Marketing and QA to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Reviews customer order status daily and communicates shortages or issues to Sales Service and Plant Manager.
• Participates in meetings with Production, Scheduling, Sales Service, Purchasing and Planning.
