Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Frozen Manager in Belmar, NJ to direct all functions of the Frozen Department and its associates. You will lead safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency, ensuring excellent customer experiences and department performance.

The role requires strong English skills, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and the ability to lead a team while managing daily operations. Competitive hourly compensation is provided along with benefits through the employer.

Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications include reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Basic computer use capability.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust.
• Ability to climb a ladder to access overhead storage.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to lead and engage associates.
• Must maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all frozen department functions and associates to meet goals in sales and customer experience.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Train and onboard new department associates and provide ongoing feedback.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper presentation of the department.
• Maintain stock, pricing, and display standards according to policy.
• Coordinate with team to ensure efficient department operations.
