Job summary

Lees Marketplace is seeking a Frozen Clerk to maintain a clean, well-stocked Frozen Department and provide friendly customer service. You will assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating products, while ensuring proper dates and fresh dairy items are presented attractively.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, adherence to sanitation guidelines, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting, with flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and cash handling skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of Frozen Department including stocking, rotation, and merchandising.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and product recommendations.
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines.
• Record damaged products and manage inventory with FIFO.
• Collaborate with team to ensure products are presented well and within expiry dates.
