Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Department Associate to support guest service and department operations in the dairy and frozen foods area.

You will stock, rotate, and condition dairy and frozen products, maintain clean and safe spaces, and support inventory control and front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes friendly guest interactions, teamwork, and adherence to company standards to minimize shrink and ensure product availability.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality to interact with guests and team.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Able to read and follow verbal and written directions.
• Willing to work in dairy/frozen environments and temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate and condition dairy/frozen products on shelves.
• Maintain neat, safe work area for guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried, rotated and dated overstock in cooler/freezer areas.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Responsible for ordering dairy products to maintain proper stock levels.
• Maintain paperwork associated with ordering and stock loss documentation procedures.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in cooler/freezer areas.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure No Noticeable Wait is upheld.
• Prepare dairy and frozen departments for grocery inventory.
• Works with Receiver and Store Manager to meet guest demand for DSD items.
• Orders and merchandises all ad items to maximize sales and profits.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
