Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking a Transmission Lineman – C Class to join our Western Kentucky team. The role focuses on groundman duties and energized line work, with emphasis on safety and reliable service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, hold a valid CDL Class A and State license, and can pass background and drug screening. Outdoor work in varying weather and travel for jobs are expected components of the role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of lineman experience or equivalent hours.
• Valid CDL Class A and State Driver License required.
• Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors in diverse terrain and weather conditions.
• Climb poles and perform strenuous duties.
• Operate service vehicle and equipment safely.
• String wire on new construction or repair lines.
• Set and connect transformers and distribution equipment.
• Respond to work orders for outages and reconnects.
• Maintain tools and equipment and follow safety protocols.
• On-call after hours and travel as needed.
