Job summary

Hope The Mission seeks an Intake and Service Specialist to greet clients, conduct intake, and connect them with housing, mental health, hygiene, and other services at the Navigation Center in North Hollywood, CA.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will maintain HMIS records, ensure confidentiality, and coordinate referrals while working in a fast-paced, open-access environment with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year direct service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HMIS or CES is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants and serve as primary contact.
• Maintain and secure participant records in HMIS.
• Administer intake and CES triage tools.
• Coordinate access to on-site services and housing resources.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with SRS requirements.
• Support site safety and emergency response when needed.
