Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment and deliver outstanding customer service. You will monitor entrances/exits, greet customers, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to analyze business trends.
Positive demeanor, strong posture and energetic greeting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with disciplined decision making.

Responsibilities

Monitor store entrances and exits to reduce theft opportunities.
Greet every customer with a warm, loud, friendly greeting.
Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
Conduct bag and package checks for associates, ensuring safety standards.
Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs.
