Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineers to build, operate, and maintain high-performance, scalable services for Palantir platforms and deployments. You will develop novel solutions and automate processes using tools including industry-leading AI/LLM tech.

You will work with forward deployed teams and product teams to design scalable systems, diagnose production issues, and push for reliability and automation across live environments.

Qualifications

• Active US Security clearance, or eligible and willing to obtain.
• Strong programming background in Java, Python, Bash, JavaScript or Go.
• Ability to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle support and operations of Palantir software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
• Deploy new Palantir products at customer deployments and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
• Debug, improve, and optimize Palantir’s services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
• Reduce manual operations and automate workflows and runbooks where possible.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for production issues with on-call participation.
• Develop novel solutions in Palantir’s Foundry and Apollo platforms to solve infrastructure challenges.
• Identify and automate highly manual tasks to drive improvements across teams.
• Work with large-scale production systems and technologies like load balancing and distributed systems.
