Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer in Washington, DC to build, operate, and maintain scalable services for Palantir platforms. You’ll automate processes, design reliable systems, and work closely with product teams to diagnose and prevent production issues.

The role emphasizes autonomy in a fast-changing environment, with responsibilities spanning deployment, monitoring, and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in CS/Math/Software/Electronics or Data Science.
• Proficient in Java/Go/Python/JavaScript; strong coding skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle support and operations of Palantir software, including monitoring, configuration, upgrades.
• Deploy new Palantir products at customer deployments and perform migrations.
• Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
• Automate workflows and runbooks to reduce manual operations.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues and participate in on-call schedule.
• Develop solutions in Foundry and Apollo to solve infrastructure challenges.
