Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring CBPOs to enforce border laws and ensure secure travel and trade. The role offers base pay at GS-5/7/9 levels with potential promotions to GS-11/12, robust federal benefits, and possible recruitment incentives.

Multiple duty locations across the United States, including Texas, are available depending on need. Newly appointed CBPOs may receive incentives and overtime opportunities, with eligibility for comprehensive health and retirement plans.

Qualificações

• GS-5/GS-7/GS-9 grade levels with promotion potential to GS-11 and GS-12.

Responsabilidades

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture law and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States; and
• Preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband.
