Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking an Emergency Services Tech to perform patient care under supervision and to support equipment, supplies and environmental maintenance. The EST may handle IV solutions or instrument trays in preparation for procedures.

Required are a California EMT certification, BLS, and Assaultive Behavior Training with completion within 30 days of hire. A High School/GED diploma is preferred and pre-hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Current California EMT certification.
• BLS required.
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• New hires with Assaultive Behavior training outside Emanate Health must complete the online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and patient care-related activities under supervision of an RN/LVN/MD.
• Performs other support functions involving equipment, supplies, and environmental maintenance.
• May handle or deliver IV solutions or instrument trays for procedures.
