Formación

• Minimum Education Requirement: High School/GED diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum Experience Requirement: One (1) year of pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Minimum License Requirement: Current California EMT certification.
• BLS required.
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• New hires who have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsabilidades

• The EST performs patient care and patient care- related activities under the supervision of an RN/LVN/MD.
• The EST performs other support functions involving equipment supplies/environmental maintenance.
• The EST may handle/deliver IV solutions or instrument trays that contain medications in the process of setting up for procedures.
• Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
