Southern California Hospitals is seeking an EMT to support the Emergency Department, performing EKGs, vital signs, and patient safety tasks. You will assist with stocking supplies, operate hospital equipment as directed, and perform clerical duties as needed in a fast-paced ED setting.

The role requires EMT certification, BLS, strong English communication, and customer service skills; reading basic medical terminology is expected. Preferred candidates have hospital or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology is expected.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Good customer service skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Perform EKGs and record vital signs.
• Assist with patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Stock and inventory management of unit supplies and equipment.
• Complete routine clerical tasks and support related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment and ensure safety of patients.
