Job Summary

The Emergency Services Tech (EST) performs patient care and patient care–related activities under the supervision of an RN/LVN/MD. The EST also performs support functions involving equipment supplies and environmental maintenance. The EST may handle or deliver IV solutions or instrument trays that contain medications in the process of setting up procedures.

Requirements

• High School/GED diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of pre‑hospital experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
• Current California EMT certification. BLS required. Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer. New hires who have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Workplace Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $34.50
