Job summary

Patriot Disposal (Apple Valley Waste) in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Customer Service Member to support operations in the waste management and recycling industry. You will respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat, resolve issues with empathy, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill service requests.

Qualifications

• 1--2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
• Address and resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Process service requests and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing customers.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
