Job summary

Healthcare in Action in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Clinical Support Partner (MA or EMT) to assist clinicians by performing basic clinical tasks, obtaining vitals, drawing blood, and providing wound care. You will coordinate care, arrange rides, prescriptions, and appointments while supporting a compassionate, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Medical Assistant diploma/certificate or NV EMT required.
• 2+ years of experience as Medical Assistant or EMT in medical office, field, or hospital.
• Ability to perform blood draws.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and assessments including obtaining EKGs, administering vaccinations and drawing blood for labs.
• Provide wound care and patient monitoring.
• Develop individualized Care Plans in collaboration with patients and care team.
• Coordinate care: arrange rides, pick up prescriptions, schedule appointments.
• Educate patients on medical issues and provide health guidance.
