• Experience performing duties that require interaction with people and applying a body of facts.
• Specialized knowledge of border control, immigration, and inspections processes.
• Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments and enforce laws at ports of entry.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Prevent smuggling and illegal entry of goods and people.
• Support flow of legitimate trade and travel.
