Qualifications

• Ability to control imports and exports to detect fraud.
• Interrogating and screening applicants and documents.
• Primary inspection by questioning and observing individuals.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Oversee the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Inspect individuals and conveyances for compliance.
• Determine admissibility of entrants to the United States.
• Prevent illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.
