Qualificações

• GS-5 requires a minimum of 3 years general experience or 1 year equivalent to GS-4, or education substitution or a combination of both.
• GS-7 requires 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, including inspections, evaluation of facts, and applying laws and regulations.
• GS-9 requires 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, including detention and enforcement activities, and related responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband.
