Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our growing fleet of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) across remote and regional field locations.

You will travel up to 75% to install, repair, maintain, and commission battery storage systems, work with electrical and control systems, and document activities while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 75% to remote ESS installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and commissioning of battery storage systems.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards in high-voltage environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to remote ESS installations for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform commissioning and inspections of battery storage systems.
• Manage on-site field projects and coordinate with contractors/third-party vendors.
• Document activities and maintain work orders.
