Job summary

a16z Frontier is seeking a Social Media Lead to grow its social channels, engage diverse communities, and craft native social content. You will work with the Frontier marketing team to adapt existing content, produce clips, and drive social campaigns that align with our high‑visibility brand and portfolio.

You will advise across teams on social media strategy, help build the online voice, and coordinate with editorial and production partners.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience owning social media for a high-visibility or high-growth brand.
• Excellent communicator — through text, multimedia, design, or memes.
• Proven ability to adapt style and voice across different formats, platforms, and audiences.
• Experience with X, LinkedIn, etc. required — and optionally, with crypto‑native or alt social media tools and video.
• Strong command of data — from implementation to optimization and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Grow a16z Frontier’s social channels and engage diverse communities.
• Adapt and distribute existing content into social posts; create social-native content.
• Oversee short-form clips production and coordinate with production vendors.
• Advise the broader team and portfolio companies on social media strategy and profile building.
• Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams; support events and campaigns.
