Job summary

Andreessen Horowitz Frontier is seeking a Social Media Lead to grow and manage the firm’s Frontier social channels. You will adapt existing content into posts, create native social formats, and oversee short-form clips operations with production vendors.

You’ll engage communities and influencers while maintaining the online brand voice across domains. The role is remote (West Coast hours) with occasional in-office needs for team offsites or events.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience owning social media for a high-visibility or high-growth brand.
• Excellent communicator across formats, multimedia, design, or memes.
• Experience with X, LinkedIn, and other social platforms; crypto-native or alt tools is a bonus.
• Strong command of data—using analytics tools and interpreting insights.

Responsibilities

• Grow a16z Frontier’s social channels and engage key communities across domains.
• Adapt and distribute existing content into social posts; create native social content and clips.
• Oversee short-form clips production and coordinate with production vendors.
• Engage influencers and online communities; establish and maintain brand voice.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to test hypotheses and scale successful formats.
