Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Consultant for the Specialty Frontier and Product Development team within USRM. The role splits time between Frontier work—driving product convergence, legacy book consolidation, and operationalization of go-forward products—and Specialty product development—researching, incubating, and implementing new concepts.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align recommendations with go-forward offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information management, economics, or other quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience (typically 6+ years).
• Knowledgeable in data query languages and tools; proficient in data modeling.
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of data concepts, architectures, and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive product convergence analysis by identifying research opportunities, conducting product research, and recommending go-forward solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document converged product requirements.
• Develop and manage roadmaps and project plans; track risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Gain consensus on recommendations across key stakeholders in the Specialty Product ecosystem.
• Contribute to and manage business simplification project timelines and roadmaps, monitoring risks and dependencies.
• Lead research and discovery for new product concepts; design experiments, synthesize insights, and produce recommendations.
• Translate exploratory findings into testable requirements and partner with Delivery/USDS to run pilots or proofs-of-concept.
• Communicate findings to senior stakeholders and help determine which concepts progress.
