Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a highly capable security researcher/engineer to lead Security Labs projects from idea through prototype to hand-off. You’ll build isolated, verifiable infrastructure and drive cryptographic/firmware-focused security work.

You’ll collaborate with research and compute teams to validate workflows, document findings, and shape future security architecture. A strong coding background and cross-domain expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least one of firmware/hardware security, cryptography, OS/kernel internals, formal methods, reverse engineering, or cross-domain security.
• Experience delivering concrete security projects with impactful outcomes.
• Ability to operate across research and infrastructure teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong programming background in Python and at least one of Rust, Go, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Own Security Labs projects end to end from scoping to prototype to hand-off.
• Stand up novel isolated security infrastructure and verification tooling.
• Collaborate with research and infrastructure teams to integrate work into workflows.
• Turn experimental results into actionable security architecture and contingency plans.
• Help shape Anthropic's long-term security strategy and industry best practices.
