Meta is building the next generation of AI agents within the Agent Data and Optimization team. This role focuses on applying rigorous research to create data, RL environments, and evaluation methods that push Muse models and related products forward.

You will own ambitious applied research from idea to results, identifying gaps and formulating strategies with a startup-like ethos. You will collaborate with model developers and researchers to turn ideas into reproducible, measurable progress,

Qualificações

• PhD or equivalent practical experience in CS/AI.
• 3+ years experience leading major research initiatives.
• Proven ability to build reliable technical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Identify capability gaps and formulate research questions that advance AI agents’ reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Develop research methods, benchmarks and experimental environments with reliable, reproducible measurements.
• Create and curate high-quality data, and build pipelines that support model training and evaluation.
• Analyze agent behavior and design feedback that rewards progress and tests generalization.
• Lead research from hypothesis through implementation and measured results, collaborating with Meta’s model development and research teams.

Formação académica

PhD in Computer Science, AI, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
