Meta in Bellevue is seeking a Research Scientist to independently own ambitious applied research from idea to results. You’ll identify capability gaps, develop methods, and build high-quality RL environments to advance Muse models and related products.

The role requires a PhD or equivalent practical experience, strong publication records, and leadership in major research initiatives. On-site position with collaboration across AI teams.

Qualificações

• PhD in CS/AI or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years leading major research initiatives or influencing strategy.
• Proven ability to build reliable technical systems and evaluate results.
• Strong track record of first-author AI publications and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Identify capability gaps and formulate research questions to advance AI agents’ reasoning.
• Develop methods, benchmarks and experiments with reliable measurements.
• Create and curate high-quality data, and build pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Analyze agent behavior and design feedback to test generalization.
• Lead research from hypothesis through implementation and measured results.

Formação académica

PhD in Computer Science / AI

Bachelor's in CS/CE or related field
