Job summary

Turing is seeking Research Engineers to advance frontier AI systems and develop practical innovations in data, algorithms, and evaluation. You will design rigorous experiments, build prototypes, and collaborate with Research, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to translate ideas into scalable AI solutions.

You will contribute to both foundational research and applied AI development across synthetic data, reinforcement learning, and benchmarks, with strong emphasis on reproducibility,

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in AI/ML/CS or equivalent research experience.
• Strong ML background with practical experimentation and evaluation.
• Ability to implement and iterate in a research environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on frontier AI systems and answer high-impact questions.
• Build and evaluate research-grade datasets, experiments, and tooling.
• Translate research findings into improvements for products and platforms.
• Share findings with the research community and internal teams.
