Job summary

Turing is seeking Senior Research Engineers to advance frontier AI systems. You will design rigorous experiments, build research-grade datasets and tools, and translate insights into scalable applications across product teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, or related field; exceptional equivalent experience considered.
• Strong foundation in ML and practical experience designing experiments, training or evaluating models.
• Demonstrated research in synthetic or agentic data generation, reinforcement learning, evaluation, or benchmarks.
• Strong programming skills and ability to implement and iterate quickly in a research setting.
• Sound scientific judgment around data quality, reproducibility, and evidence-based decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication across research and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on frontier AI systems and inform product strategy.
• Build and evaluate research systems, datasets, experiments, tooling, and evaluation frameworks.
• Translate research into practical improvements for products and platforms.
• Collaborate with Research, Engineering, Product, and Operations; share findings with the community.
