Prime Intellect, Inc. is building an open frontier AI stack and provides the Lab platform for post-training at frontier scale.

As a Forward-Deployed Research Engineer, you will be the primary technical interface between Prime Intellect and top customers—AI companies, research labs, and enterprises—operating post-training and agentic RL on our platform. You will embed with customers, translate objectives into concrete training runs, environment designs, evaluation harnesses, and deployment

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience building, evaluating, or deploying LLM-based agents in the past 1–2 years.
• Strong evaluation design skills for agentic systems and reward signals.
• Familiarity with RL, GRPO, RLHF, and post-training concepts.

Aufgaben

• Embed with strategic customers to understand architectures, goals, and workloads.
• Design and build custom RL environments, evaluation harnesses, and verifiers for each customer.
• Architect agent scaffolding tailored to customer workflows and tool use.
• Configure and launch training runs on Lab, iterate on rewards and evaluation criteria.
• Serve as the technical lead from discovery to deployed models and ongoing improvements.
• Identify repeatable patterns and codify into reference implementations and templates.
• Contribute to internal roadmap based on customer feedback and field insights.
