Hold F, click a point in the live video, and lock focus and exposure on a moving target- Add a map layer like the flight-path breadcrumbs where pilots can turn on a live trail of where the drone has flown.- Render AR bounds around subject tracks from the vehicle, and allow users to interface to instruct the drone to follow a vehicle.WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT- Solid software engineering foundation and a commitment to writing clean, well-architected code.- Junior, senior, or MS-level student with meaningful project or internship experience developing modern web applications that connect to backend APIs and data systems.- Experience in modern web development (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, WebGL/Three.js).- Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, services, and integrations for handling large datasets.- Bonus: familiarity with robotics software development concepts. What Makes You a Good Fit:- Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $47/hr for Undergrad, $53/hr for Graduate students, and $70/hr for PhD students\\*.
