Skydio is the leading US drone company, seeking a frontend intern for the Remote Flight Deck (RFD) Platform team. You will design and implement pilot-facing features in the browser interface, connecting live video, telemetry, and map controls.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality, production features and gain exposure to the full stack from UI to backend APIs.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering foundation and a commitment to writing clean, well-architected code.
• Junior, senior, or MS-level student with meaningful project or internship experience developing modern web applications that connect to backend APIs and data systems.
• Experience in modern web development (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, WebGL/Three.js).
• Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, services, and integrations for handling large datasets.
• Bonus: familiarity with robotics software development concepts.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement pilot-facing features that help operators make faster, safer decisions while flying.
• Collaborate across functions (product managers, designers, engineers, and support) to deliver high-quality, impactful features to customers.
• Ship production features with engineers, designers, and product managers, focusing on the RFD Platform frontend.
