Job summary

Acclaim is building the financial infrastructure to power global insurance payments. You will join a small, high-ownership frontend team creating core payment experiences used by insurers worldwide.

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll own features from concept to production, collaborate with founders, product, and customer success, and help shape our engineering culture while delivering fast, accessible UI across devices.

Insurance companies move billions of dollars every year across claims, premiums, commissions, and reimbursements, yet much of the underlying financial infrastructure remains fragmented and manual. About the role

We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to help build the core platform powering global insurance payments. You'll own features from concept through production, influence technical direction, and help establish the engineering culture that future teammates will inherit.

This is an opportunity to solve complex technical problems where quality, precision, and scalability matter. When software moves money, getting it right isn't optional.

Who you'll work with

You'll work directly with the founders and collaborate closely with Product and Customer Success to design, build, and launch new payment capabilities for insurers around the world.

What we're looking for

• A genuine passion for building software.
• Experience building production web applications with React (or similar).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• A desire to own problems from start to finish.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Payments or fintech experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, or design systems / component libraries.
