Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to support USAF mission work. You will design and develop front-end components, create wireframes, and optimize user interfaces for efficient operator interaction.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility, 7+ years in software development, and hands-on experience with Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and modern front-end tooling. Remote work is available, with travel up to 10-20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
• 3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based applications.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 3 years of front-end web design and development experience.
• Experience delivering in a cloud environment and enabling data integration from unclassified to classified deployments.

Responsabilités

• Perform front-end design and development tasks including design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and user-facing documentation.
• Plan and implement GUI modifications and optimize UI elements and navigation.
• Facilitate operator ease of use and apply best-of-breed UI/UX practices in agile environments.
• Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to define requirements and conduct system testing.

The Software Developer (Frontend) provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to GUIs, constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This position is remote a requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly

• 7 years of overall experience in the functional area. Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent front-end web design and development experience.
• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX practices.

-Required Certifications: DCWF Code: 632 Intermediate

• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
