Job summary

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer to craft the user-facing experiences for APM Insights in Palo Alto. You will lead frontend architecture choices and build interfaces that visualize AI-driven narratives, dashboards, and conversational interactions.

This role partners with SDE/DE teams to deliver scalable, accessible, and performant web experiences for 600+ APM users. Ideal candidates have strong frontend.dev skills, data viz experience, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and developing large-scale software applications and services using modern languages
• 3+ years of professional front end development experience
• Experience visualizing data in Tableau or similar tools
• Understanding web performance fundamentals: bundling, lazy loading, rendering pipelines
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL for client-server communication

Responsibilities

• Design and build production front end experiences for APM's suite of AI-powered insights products
• Own front end architecture decisions: component design, state management, rendering performance, accessibility
• Build rich data visualization components for applications like supply funnel analytics and cross-publisher views
• Implement conversational UI patterns for AI agent interactions and confidence indicators
• Partner on API contract design and efficient data fetching patterns
• Instrument front end telemetry to track adoption metrics
• Ensure experiences meet accessibility standards
