Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Front End Engineer II to design, build, and maintain modern web tooling for AWS S&OP planning workflows. You will craft reusable UI components, dashboards, and data visualizations using React and TypeScript, integrating AI features with Bedrock/Claude.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, contribute to frontend architecture, and own features from design to deployment in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building reusable UX components or libraries.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Rapidly prototype solutions using AI coding tools, get direct customer feedback, and iterate quickly—without heavy documentation overhead.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript that support AWS S&OP planning workflows.
• Build interactive dashboards and data visualization tools that surface complex supply chain and planning data in clear, actionable ways.
• Integrate with AWS services including Amazon Bedrock and Claude to deliver AI-powered features within internal planning tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, iterate on designs, and deliver solutions that meet real operational needs.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices for a growing codebase.
• Own features end-to-end—from technical design through deployment and monitoring.
• A day in the life: review PRs, pair with stakeholders, build components, and ship features to production.
