Job summary

VTG Defense is on the lookout for a mid-level Software Developer to support its customer in College Park, MD. This hybrid role will involve building and enhancing front-end user interfaces using React, implementing responsive components, and working in a legislative Agile team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of software development experience with proficiency in Typescript, C++, and Java, along with hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Typescript, C++, Java.
• Hands-on experience building UI components with React.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Robot, Selenium).
• Proficient in developing applications within Linux/WSL.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance front-end user interfaces using React.
• Implement responsive UI components and follow UI/UX best practices.
• Develop, test, and deploy code in a Linux/WSL environment.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and participate in code reviews.
