Job summary

VTG is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to support our customer in College Park, MD. This is a hybrid role combining on-site collaboration with remote work when appropriate.

You will focus on building and refining front-end interfaces using React and modern UI patterns. You should be comfortable with TypeScript, C++, and Java, design APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/Jenkins/Azure DevOps, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and test with Sikuli or Selenium in a Linux/WSL

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in TypeScript, C++, and Java.
• Hands-on React front-end development experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/WSL.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance front-end user interfaces with React.
• Implement responsive UI components and align with design systems.
• Apply modern design patterns and React frameworks.
• Develop, test, and deploy code in Linux/WSL.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Write automated UI tests with Sikuli and Selenium.
• Collaborate in Agile environments and participate in code reviews.
