Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Front End Software Developer in McLean, VA, to craft user-facing web experiences. You will turn UI/UX wireframes and specs into responsive components, ensuring secure, high-performance front-end interfaces.

Required are 8+ years in front-end development, strong JavaScript (ES6+), React or Lit, and experience with REST/GraphQL, Bootstrap, and modern testing frameworks. TS/SCI with Polygraph is expected on site.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combo of education, certifications, or experience.
• 8+ years of Front-End development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), modern frameworks (React or Lit), and responsive UI using Bootstrap.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features in a web application and connect to back-end services via RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality UI components.
• Write and execute unit and end-to-end tests using Playwright/Jest/Mocha/Cypress to ensure robust delivery.
