Job summary

Next Ventures in New York City is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong front-end focus to design, develop, and deploy user-facing features using React and TypeScript, while contributing to back-end services as needed.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI/ML specialists to build scalable front-ends, integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL, and apply modern development practices in a healthcare tech environment. A passion for learning and cloud services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Modern front-end development practices including state management and performance optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL integration.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js or Python.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud AI services).
• Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI/ML specialists to build user-facing features.
• Build and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Work on back-end services to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and AI/ML models.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
• Stay up-to-date with frontend trends and AI/ML developments.
• Contribute to overall platform architecture and technical direction.
