Job summary

Next Ventures in New York City is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus. You will design, develop, and deploy features, primarily using React and TypeScript, while contributing to backend work. Experience or interest in AI/ML will help build smarter solutions.

You will collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams, implement scalable frontend apps, and help shape the platform's architecture while staying current with evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of modern front-end development practices (state management, component design, performance).
• Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL integration.
• Back-end familiarity (Node.js, Python or similar).
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts/tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch or cloud AI services).
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI/ML specialists to build user-facing features.
• Build and maintain front-end apps using React and TypeScript.
• Work on back-end services to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and AI/ML models.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to ensure quality.
• Stay updated with frontend trends and AI/ML developments.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of the platform.
