Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of formal software engineering experience with front-end development.
• Strong visual design sense and familiarity with branding guidelines.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Amazon Cloud services (AWS).
• Knowledge of database technologies including SQL.
• Self-managing with ability to define tasks and deliver on time.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication; able to run meetings and discuss requirements.
• Ability to develop according to design guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-Wholesale Bank initiatives and collaborative projects.
• Share UI processes and best practices within project teams.
• Champion customer-centricity, usability, and consistency across channels.
• Review market trends and business drivers with partners to center customer perspective.
• Design and build responsive pages following JPMorgan style guidelines.
• Create prototypes to validate designs with stakeholders and guide implementation.
• Conceptualize layouts, navigation, images, and multimedia with strong aesthetics.
• Improve usability of interactions in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
• Provide technical solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Support Usability, QA and UAT testing for high-quality deliverables.
• Deploy applications on AWS and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Enhance SDLC processes with automation and best practices.
• Contribute to a diverse, inclusive team culture.
