Job summary

Verkada Inc. is seeking a Frontend Software Engineering Intern for 2027 to join our San Mateo team. You will contribute to the Command web platform (React) and mobile apps (React Native) while collaborating with product and design to ship features worldwide.

You will gain hands-on experience across the full stack and learn from engineers who build Verkada’s AI-powered security platform. This on-site internship offers housing support and developer-friendly perks in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with graduation by June 2028.
• Internship experience developing and launching products.
• Experience building reusable components and pixel-perfect UIs with CSS preprocessing.

Responsibilities

• Build best-in-class product experiences for the frontend (React) and React Native apps.
• Lead projects end-to-end from design to implementation when appropriate.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to delight users.
