Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Front End Engineer II to design, build, and ship features for a global ISP customer base using React and Next.js. You will own the full software lifecycle, collaborate with product, UX, marketing, and backend teams, and work with AI-driven development workflows to deliver accessible, high-performance interfaces.

Qualifications

2+ years of non-internship frontend experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
1+ years of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, complexity) experience.
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Responsibilities

Design and build front-end features for the Amazon Leo e-commerce platform using React and Next.js, taking projects from concept through deployment and ongoing operation.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, marketing, and backend commerce service teams to translate customer and business needs into accessible, scalable solutions.
Leverage AI-driven workflows and generative AI tools to accelerate feature delivery and improve infrastructure using AWS services.
Participate in code reviews and mentor others on frontend best practices, UI design patterns, and maintainable code.
Write clear documentation for team software and train new team members on construction, testing, and operation.
