Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Front End Engineer II to design, build, and ship features for a global ISP customer base. You will work with React and Next.js, moving from ambiguous problems to working products, owning the full software lifecycle and collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.

You will leverage AI-assisted development workflows and AWS services to improve performance and accessibility, while mentoring others on front-end patterns and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional front end experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design and build front-end features for the Amazon Leo e-commerce platform using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with product, UX, marketing, and backend teams to translate needs into scalable UI solutions.
• Leverage AI-driven workflows to accelerate delivery and improve infrastructure with AWS services.
• Participate in code reviews and promote front-end best practices and maintainable code.
• Write clear documentation and train teammates on how the code is constructed and operated.
