Job summary

Cabana, a developer of advanced Command & Control software, is hiring a Forward Deployed Front End Engineer to join a new team building real-time UI/UX for autonomous systems. You will own frontend solutions, integrating 3D visualization, streaming data, and cross-environment deployment.

The role requires 2-4 years of frontend-focused software experience, proficiency with React and 3D frameworks, and the ability to travel up to 25-75% as needed. Hybrid work in select US locations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years professional software development (frontend-focused preferred).
• Experience with 3D visualization frameworks (Three.js, Babylon.js, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming, CI/CD, deployment, and Linux.
• Strong integration skills: APIs, networking, security, authentication.
• Active US Security clearance OR eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to travel 25-75% as needed.
• Experience with AI/LLM interfaces (graphical, textual, or verbal).
• Robust production systems deployment and maintenance.
• Background in robotics or autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Build mission-critical full-stack C2 solutions for multi-modal autonomous systems.
• Develop 3D real-time visualization interfaces (React, Three.js) that surface complex autonomy data intuitively.
• Integrate solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Own deployment, security, and user experience challenges end-to-end.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, systems engineers, roboticists, and domain experts.
